KA-1212BRB brake/breacher for Mossberg 500/590 and others (.860")
The KA-1212BR was derived from our KA-1212 brake/ suppressor unit. The overall dimensions and configuration was maintained, but the port and internal machining was modified to allow it to be used as a standoff device, yet still retain the improved patterning and recoil/flash suppression characteristics that made the KA-1212 popular.
The KA-1212BR offers several innovations which make it the best shotgun breaching attachment on the market today:
-Excellent flash suppression for maintaining low-light vision
-Recoil reduction for quicker follow-up shots
-"6/45" port arrangement to keep sight picture clear of smoke/blast
-Compatible with all ammunition, even "less lethal" rounds
-Uneven port layout uses muzzle blast to push debris away from user
-Tighter patterns for more pellets on target
-Square "no snag" teeth stick to doors, not to gear and clothes
-Special hydraulically-formed alloy is springy, less prone to breakage
-Mounts on exterior of muzzle rather than fragile choke tube
-Pre-drilled and tapped to accept #6-48 beads such as the Hi-Viz
Some gunsmithing required, these are silver-soldered to the barrel (much like the barrel lug, sights, etc are attached). For detailed instructions, you can download a copy of the installation instructions here KA-1212BR PDF
